Iran animation piece ‘Alphabet’ is to compete at the 6th Colortape International Film Festival in Australia.
Directed by Kianoush Abedi, the short flick will be screened in the competition section of the sixth edition of the event, vying for the $10,000-prize.
The 6-minute movie narrates the story of people who have forgotten life and are separated from knowledge and truth, people who cannot hear, see or speak, while words are keenly awaiting them.
Colortape is a multicultural film festival, promoting worldwide arts and culture through films, while bridging cultural differences, friendship, and showcasing the creative vision of filmmakers from around the world.
The 2018 edition of the Festival will be held July 4-10 next year, in Brisbane, Australia.
